Grayson Update!

Here is a Grayson update, he is simply fantastic.  Derek and I worked really hard to put together this new toy for him!

When I say really hard, I mean it.  It's really quite pathetic, but this thing was originally in 15 pieces (not including screws).  I have never realized just how difficult they make these "self-assemble" toys, or "self-assemble" anything for that matter.  But Grayson simply loves playing with it!  He doesn't totally get the walking bit, but he sure does love the toys on the front side.  The toy slides so easily that when he tries to walk it gets ahead of him. Luckily we haven't had a complete face-plant...yet.  This toy is really great though, it gives him something to hold on to when attempting to walk, then later it transforms into a toy he can sit on and ride around.  So despite hurting both mine and Derek's ego's it's assembled, and has been fun.  He likes the box that it came in almost as much as the toy itself.  It just never gets old.

Our little stinker is so funny, lately his nose has been a  little clogged and he does this funny thing where he scrunches his nose and breathes in and out.  We just love it, but a movie will do it SO much more justice!

Another new thing Grayson does is play with the dishwasher.  No matter how much I scold him (because sometimes there are sharp knives in it) he just keeps going and always wants to pull out a spoon to play with, or occasionally the ladle.  This is his very guilty face while playing...he's been caught!

I know I've mentioned that his two top teeth came in, and how that it's been awhile, both his top and bottom teeth are so stinkin' big.  We jokingly suspect that he may have a gap in his two front teeth!  He'll have braces just like his mommy (not that I had a gap...).  He and Daddy are having a grand ol' time playing here.

I simply couldn't resist posting these extra videos!

First is a video featuring peas!

Here you see Grayson while he is watching the Baby Einstein.  He flexes his whole body when he gets really excited, which he does when he gets to talk on the phone and when toys are super fun!
