Christmas

As Christmas approached, Grayson and I did lots of Christmas-sy things.  We strung kettle corn (better for snacking) to hang on the tree.  We whipped up a couple batches of dough for making ornaments (some more successful than others).  Wrapping up Daddy's gifts was fun and gave Grayson an excuse to hold the tape, which he loved!

A friend here at Hill had a cookie decorating party, and Grayson had a blast decorating cookies for Santa.  On Christmas morning, Grayson even found that Santa had left him his favorite, and he was thrilled to eat it!

We also made footprint "art" to mail to family.  Of course, anything on your foot tickles, which made this a messy project, but it was so fun!  Totally worth it.  But taking pictures of Riley's foot was impossible, haha.

The housing office had their very own Santa, and our boys had lots of fun sitting with him!

I decided to add some new ornaments to add to our tree this year.  It was just a little bare...I figured they should be unbreakable as we have one destructive little one, soon to be two.

So here is what I came up with.

These little presents are foam blocks that I wrapped in brown paper (from lunch bags) and then used twine to tie bows on.  I just love how they turned out!

(And couldn't resist a few extra pictures with the tree in it)

And a little elf-ness to complete the Christmas spirit.
