Grayson's First Swim
We decided to load up this past weekend and take out Grayson for his first dip in the pool. There are a few pools on base, and we finally got out to enjoy them! As we got ready and lathered Grayson up with sunscreen. We even put it on his head as his hair is very thin. This is his ridiculously adorable hair-do.
As soon as we got there, he was interested in all noisily playing children in the pool. We put him in the water, and he couldn't get enough. Walking wasn't good enough, he wanted to crawl and be submerged in the water.
We started out in the very shallow water where he splashed and played, but as he soon discovered, the pool gets a little deeper as you go out. He kept crawling out to the deeper sections where he would have gone under. He loves playing in the water and I think he just couldn't get enough.
He went to the "deep" end with Daddy and loved splashing when the other children swam by. Just being submerged in the water and floating on Daddy's lap was fun for him.
Finally...you can see his prune-ie little feet. We had so much fun swimming with Grayson, and will go back as often as we can. He so obviously loved it, we just can't wait until he can walk better! He was super smiley the whole time, what a success!
