Grammy Continued...

     We had a lovely picnic planned for Monday morning out on Antelope Island which is in the middle of the Great Salt Lake.  However, I had heard that gnats were an issue now, but since my mom still wanted to see the lake up close we decided to go anyway (I'm just kidding Mom).  Little did we know that swarming, biting bugs would the main attraction.  As soon as we stepped out of the car we were overtaken, it's such a gross feeling when your hair feels like it's moving, yes there were that many gnats! To give you an idea...we walked out to the edge of the water, didn't even try to touch it, then ran back to the car to get rid of them!  

     These two pictures were taken from inside the car as we drove around the island.  There really is some beautiful scenery, but I think we'll wait to go again until there aren't any gnats!  

     Grayson loved reading stories at bedtime with Grammy, and also was very co-operative while brushing his teeth!  More pictures of playing downstairs, Grayson was completely obsessed with her necklace!

     After our picnic, we headed to the airport.  Of course all the fun had to come to an end sometime, but somehow it snuck up on me.  But you can make fun anywhere, and the airport is no exception.  Grayson loved riding on the flat escalator railing.  He just stared at all the people and such that we were passing, I don't think he realized that it was him who was moving!
