Snow Boots!

This past week, with the crazy weather, we realized that we don't have many of the essentials for snowy weather!  So we headed out to the Layton Mall on Sunday, and found some irresistible snow boots for Grayson!  He isn't used to boots that go above his ankle and are stiff...so seeing him walk in them is a little funny.  But I'm sure that he will get used to them, and really appreciate warm tosies as the colder weather comes in.

I just had to share some pictures of the little man walking around in them.  I'm sure there is more snow gear that I haven't thought of yet.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

One thing I just have to share, because most moms don't know this, is that winter coats should never be worn in a car seat. We've used fleece jackets and then cover our kids with blankets and, if it's really really cold or we have a long ways to walk outside, I'll put their winter jacket on after I get them out of the car seat. The bulk of a winter coat creates an air pocket between the car seat straps and your little one so, in an accident, the strap wouldn't be tight enough to protect them. Also, fleece mittens and hats are the BEST, because they wick away moisture. Really, the best thing to think about when going outdoors for a long period of time is to layer, layer, layer. Cute boots! Have you guys seen snow before?
