Our Little Family

As many people probably saw on Facebook, our little family ventured out to Paul's Patch, a great little fruit/veggie stand that's pretty close to home.  Since we love to make homemade pumpkin pies we snagged two little pie pumpkins, which we cooked whole in the oven (great and easy clean-up).  Derek has since made one pie, and the other half of the mix is frozen for the next pie.
The pie pumpkins cost $0.50 each, and made the equivalent of 2 cans each.  Savings of $2.50 per pumpkin!  Success!  Needless to say, we will be going back there.  We also picked up some plums and peaches which I've made into our jelly for the year!  As well as some more apples (what can I say, my boys love applesauce!).

While at the Patch, we also posed for some pictures, thank you Grandma Debbie for capturing some pretty cute moments!

When we finally got back home, Grayson was sure thirsty!  Then of course he crashed for a nap.  What a fun and full day.
