Cycle Obsession

The hubbs is officially obsessed with cycling!  He would love to ditch the kids and I...except he loves us too much.  Which is good, or we would never see him.  So on one of his rides, he found a pretty level trail close to our house.  The only trouble is parts of it are overgrown with blackberry bushes, which have tons of nasty thorns.  After his ride through the countryside, he returned home and his arms looked as though we got a new cat.

So, this weekend we headed down to the trail with clippers, gloves, and a rake.  We made some good progress on clearing things out so Grayson can hopefully go here with him to ride bikes.

I just had to show a picture of the bees here.  I know they're dying off in the states, but here we have several types of bees and they seem to be everywhere.  This fuzzy and quite large fella' was one of many flitting about the church grounds when we walked past.  They are intimidating, but really quite beautiful!
