Visitors!!!!!
The past week and a half I have been on the go...cleaning and such getting ready for my mother-in-law Debbie, and sister-in-law Audrey to visit. It was great having them here, and we got lots of fun things squeezed into their short visit. They came in on Friday and we went to the Hill AFB museum which was a lot of fun! Of course Audrey found a plane of her very own...
Saturday we started out with a hike near the Utah river, and we all took turns carrying not-so-little Grayson in our Baby K'Tan carrier up and down the hill. (In Utah, I'd refer to it as a hill, but before this while living in Texas I would have thought of this as a mountain!)
We had been to this same place once before, and these benches made me think of Aunt Karen and Aunt Patty! haha, we had to get in a picture.
After all of this, we had a nice day shopping in the historical district of Ogden. Sunday was a little quieter and Derek got to BBQ, which he loves to do every time he gets a chance. Then on Monday, I'm sad to say Debbie was not feeling so good, so we had a relaxing day at home.
We love having company, but catching up on housework and such afterward is a little daunting. I feel like I've been doing laundry for two days now. And of course...it's just my luck, I had some clothes and things out on the line in the backyard as a very loud and wet storm came in. I'm also working on getting Grayson back into the groove of things. He was just so excited to have company he was staying up longer and at different times than usual.
