Grammy's Visit
Grammy finally arrived!!! Yay, we had been looking forward to this (me especially). She brought a super cute new Sesame Street book for Grayson, as you can see he loves that it's interactive. During her time here, we spent lots of time at home, just hanging out and playing with Grayson. We did manage to squeeze in some fun to. I only wish it could have been longer!!!
On Friday we went out to the Ogden River where we walked along a cute little trail. We walked about 3 1/2 miles and Grayson fell asleep (little cutie! he was totally pooped). We found some beautiful spots for pictures, and Grayson enjoyed riding on Daddy's shoulders toward the end of our walk. It was so cute how he threw up his hands while up on Daddy's shoulders, he was so excited and loved patting on his head while screaming.
After our long hike, we enjoyed some "Mormon Muffins" at The Greenery Restaurant afterward. (I thought it was pretty funny that they're called that.) I've mentioned that Grayson has been eating food, but on this particular day he ate beets (for the first time ever), watermelon, cucumber, and bread. We also got in some good shopping in the same building as the restaurant, they have some really cute shops. (I'm thinking about asking about selling my cards there...)
Einstein Bagels! Yummy, Mom and I enjoyed a light snack and shopped around for the card stuff for Grayson's birthday invitations. It was fun to work on that together, and we decided on an Owl theme and I'm planning a cute banner and birthday boy shirt to match. It's gonna be wonderful, but I digress...
We bought a little pool at Target that is a fish, and sprays water, and gave it it's maiden voyage so Grammy could enjoy it. Grayson was a little slow to get in, but once in he really did have a good time. We filled it with lots of his bath-tub toys and he just went to town!
More of this vacation to come, of our trip to the super salty lake.

I love these pictures of Grammy's visit. Grayson looks like a little boy now, instead of a baby!! How did that happen so fast? The pic of him reading on Grammy's lap with his legs crossed is just too cute!
Hi Duffy! Keep up the good work you guys!!
Love, Ann
