Daddy and Momer

     Grayson loves all things that go.  This includes but is not limited to cars, airplanes, tractors, garbage trucks...you get the idea.  He loves anything that has wheels, and will frequently scream out wheel while we are going through the grocery store, and pointing to the carts.  However, I will say that this has gotten better, because he used to call anything with wheels a car.  One night, several weeks ago we ate at Arby's and Grayson did his usual looking around checking everything out.  Then in the middle of our quiet meal and in a relatively quiet Arby's he screamed at the top of his lungs, "CAR!" while pointing to the mopping cart that someone was pushing out into the dining area.

     So we are glad that he has learned to better label things, and his latest discovery is the "Momer".  He has seen one of the neighbors down the hill mow his lawn before, and was very intrigued.  So this weekend when Derek finally had to pull out our mower so we wouldn't get cited Grayson stood at the window and kept shouting "Momer" for the entire time that Derek mowed and edged.  Now every time we load into the car to go anywhere he makes sure that we are aware that the "momer" is still safely stored in the garage.  This little boy is very aware of his surroundings, and loves to point out anything and everything that he knows the name for.  It's great!
